ACADEMIC FIELD & RESEARCH

My main area of research is in the field of anthropology (specifically, ecological anthropology) focusing on the ecology and culture of hunter-gatherers in African rainforests. I have also studied the symbiotic relationship between hunter-gatherers and slash-and-burn agriculturalists, and their respective relationships with the outside world.
