ACADEMIC FIELD & RESEARCH
My interests lie in investigating the reproductive tactics and development of social behavior in orangutans as semi-solitary apes through research conducted in captivity as well as in the wild. I would like to collaborate internationally with other anthropologists to study the evolutionary basis for “adolescence”, which has been considered to be unique to humans.
RESEARCH FIELD (FIELD SITE, LOCATION OF RESEARCH)
