ACADEMIC FIELD & RESEARCH
Primatology
I had been researching the mixed species association of primates in Africa. Mixed species association is a group formed by different species of monkeys. Now I am working on the human-monkey conflicts in Hong Kong.
My interest is a principle that explains social coexistence among different species, as well as the ecological mechanism of sympatry. In this project, I focus on sociality in the everyday lives of monkeys and human, where both of them are connected through the social and physical environment, rather than on sociality as we conventionally understand it.

COMMENTS
There has been a great effort to elucidate human evolution. With an awareness of inheriting the fruit of many genuine predecessors, we need to move on to find a novel way to tackle the evolution of sociality.
